Italian truffles deserve to be recognized, not confused.
Tartufido was born in Umbria to bring a digital tool into the supply chain that connects requests, truffle hunters, lots, identification seals and QR codes in a single, more readable journey.
Each lot can have a digital card: not just a code, but a consultable story made of operational data, recorded steps and parties involved.
This way the truffle hunter's work gains more value, the merchant chooses with greater awareness, and truffles reach the market with a clearer identity.

From Piedmont to Umbria, from Tuscany to other truffle-producing regions, Tuber melanosporum and Tuber magnatum represent some of the most recognized excellences of Italian tradition.
Harvesting with trained dogs, the relationship with the territory and the work of truffle hunters deserve tools that make the supply chain clearer, more readable and more valued.
With Tartufido, each lot can have a digital identity: registered truffle hunter, declared area, species, weight, identification seal and operational steps can be linked to a card consultable via QR.

Dogs and truffle hunters
Truffle hunting is done with trained dogs, respecting the forest and regulations. Tartufido puts truffle hunters and territory at the center: each lot is linked to the truffle hunter and, where applicable, to the dog declared by the truffle hunter for search activity.
Truffle hunting and extraction in Italy is inscribed on UNESCO's List of Intangible Cultural Heritage (December 2021). UNESCO recognizes a set of knowledge and practices transmitted orally for centuries: searching with trained dogs, extraction with a spade without damaging the soil, and the bond between hunter and territory. Truffle dogs
Dogs are trained to locate truffles without damaging the ground. On the platform it is necessary to associate the dog with the lot: without dog registration the lot card cannot be completed.

Truffle hunters are registered with documentary data. The declared harvesting area and pickup point help document the declared information on origin and lot movements.

From harvesting to the lot card: every step becomes more readable. Tartufido lets you record operational lot information, associate an identification seal and make linked steps consultable via QR code.
Operational traceability
The lot is registered with information declared by the parties involved: truffle hunter, species, weight and indicative area. After weighing, an identification seal associated with the lot may be applied. Main operational steps, such as transfers, updates or status revocations, can be recorded on the platform and consulted on the digital card.
Consultable lot card
By scanning the QR on the seal, you can open the lot's digital card: recorded data, event timeline and lot status on the platform. Consultation can happen without login, making it easier to verify the operational information associated with the product.
The information on the lot card is based on data declared by parties involved in the supply chain. Tartufido does not replace official certifications, public inspections, mandatory documentation or checks required by applicable law.
